The University of the Philippines Mindanao Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO) held a Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Protection Webinar via Zoom last 15 March 2022, Tuesday, at 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN. This event was organized in order to increase the awareness of our researchers on their intellectual property rights from their research outputs, technologies, and creative works. We have invited resource persons from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) to orient about the rights and opportunities our researchers could have for their outputs.

There were two invited resource speaker, one is Engr. John Paul Yu discusses about Patent, Utility Model, Industrial Design, and Trade Secret and their Application Process and Filing Fees  and second is Mr.Romeo Jason L. Padulla lectured about Trademark, Copyright, and Geographical Indication and their Application Process and Filing Fees 

We had a total of 66 participants including project personnel, including project leaders, research assistants and project staff that joined in the Webinar
