The morning session featured presentations of success stories from seasoned experts, including Dr. Cecilia Maramba-Lazarte (Director, Institute of Herbal Medicine, National Institutes of Health, UP Manila), Dr. Magdaleno R. Vasquez Jr. (Director, UP Diliman TTBDO), and Ms. Cathrene P. Amante (TechTrans Officer, UP Los Baños TTBDO). This was followed by a fireside chat with Mr. Mikko Jay Javier (Monitoring and Evaluations Officer, UP System TTBDO), Mr. Cenevix G. Mañago (Intellectual Property Officer, UP System TTBDO), and our featured directors from the presentation, where they shared their commercialization journeys, insights, and lessons learned.

In the afternoon, UPMin researchers engaged in a consultation session with UP System TTBDO experts, Mr. Cenevix and Mr. Mikko, to explore customized pathways such as licensing, spin-off creation, and industry partnerships. The event was proudly joined by several promising research projects, including Lactic Acid, Lime Render, DiWA, VC Lab, AI Durian, MaBiDa, and the UPMin Gawad Pangulo nominee —each one brimming with potential to make real-world impact.
