The DOST-PCAARRD funded program titled "Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program in Southern Mindanao: UGMARA: Uplifting the Grassroot-based Mindanaoans in AANR Initiatives through Regional Approach" consists of ten (10) Consortium Members Institution (CMIs) under SMAARRDEC that aims to develop and enhance S&T based Agri-Aqua Enterprises in the AANR Sector.
The activity aims to mentor the CMIs on crafting/enhancing their respective IP and Technology Transfer Policies, workshop on the inventory of matured technologies, knowledge resources, business plan for their chosen technology, writeshop on their future ATBI operations manual, finalization of RAISE UGMARA communication plan, and assessment of the program's Y1 target deliverables to strategize a catch-up plan for Y2.
Further, the acivity will capacitate the constituents on pre and post-commercialization tools which is beneficial as they also finished the series of training conducted by DOST-PCAARRD and APP that also focuses on expediting commercialization of S&T-based Agri-Aqua Enterprises in the AANR Sector.
