Launching of the UP Mindanao Bakery Pilot Plant Facility

The University of the Philippines Mindanao (UPMin), through the Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO), ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—ฃ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜๐˜†, a support facility for the development of emerging food products or technologies, to test their commercial value through pilot-scale testing for innovators and researchers and to elevate food product development.

Chancellor Lyre Anni E. Murao warmly welcomed the event, and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Annabelle Novero and Chair of the Department of Food Science and Chemistry (DFSC) Dr. Dann Marie Del Mundo sent messages of support. Chancellor Murao also led the ribbon-cutting ceremony together with DOST XI Regional Director Dr. Anthony Sales, Dr. Del Mundo, and TTBDO Coordinator a/Prof. Miguel Carlo Guillermo. Following this, there was a facility blessing, a thorough tour of the facility, a technology taste test, and an engaging open forum for all attendees.
