The UP Mindanao Technology Transfer and Business Development Office and the UPMin Office of Research gathered for a meeting with Dr. Dave Centeno, Assistant Vice President for Research and Innovation (Convergence and Translation), organized by the Office of Research. 

During the meeting, Dr. Centeno introduced OVPRI's latest programs, highlighting the "Tanglaw Client Stakeholder Discovery for Research-to-Impact Award Program" (formerly Humatak CRDI). The initiative aims to encourage researchers and creative practitioners across all constituent universities to step outside academia and challenge the assumptions behind their research and creative work. 

Following the presentation, Dr. Melvin S. Pasaporte delivered a comprehensive presentation on the UP Mindanao Knowledge Innovation Science and Technology (KIST) Park, detailing its background, recent milestones, and ongoing progress. Looking ahead, the next steps will involve packaging the proposal for presentation to the OVPRI and the Office of the Vice President for Development (OVPD), and ultimately to the Board of Regents (BOR).
