The Intellectual Property-Technology Business Management (IP-TBM) is a consortium-led intiative of the Southern Mindanao Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-SMAARRDEC).

This project is composed of six (6) institution members including the University of the Philippines Mindanao. This project aims to capacitate the participating Consortium Member Institutions (CMI) in IP, IP management, patent search and drafting skills, and basic technology transfer concept; to enhance the technology promotion and commercialization activities of the University and IP-TBM offices in the Davao Region; and to identify and intensify linkages with various agencies to enhance activities on intellectual property and technology transfer & commercialization.
